Annica... getting there!

[Previous entry: "I'm still here.."] [Main Index] [Next entry: "I'm doing well.."]

04/22/2002 Archived Entry: "Gain again!"

The scale goes crazy since I started to workout! Yesterday morning I weighed 256,1lbs this morning I weighed 257,8lbs! This means I show a 0,8lb gain this week. But it's not fat, you can't gain that much fat over one day!

I did my third workout yesterday evening. So I'm doing quite well regarding exercising :) Food wise I've not been all that well. I haven't pigged out or something, just not counted my points for a couple of weeks. You know done it all by "feeling", but it's easy to add a little more each day to everything. Not by intension just because the eye tricks you. So I've decided to get on to it again starting today :) So hopefully I will show a loss next week!

Gaining weight the first few weeks of weight training is not only normal, it is a good thing! Your muscles hang on to water ... and then good things start to happen. Be patient, and ignore the scale for a while!

I gained the first week or so I did weight-training, and had a great loss the following week as the muscle stopped building so fast and the fat was being burned. I stayed really on plan and drank a lot of water. I bet if you do the same you will show a good loss next week. Keep up the great work!
